Wirko Building Solutions supplies and installs the fixed interior elements of multifamily and student housing units. We work as the subcontractor under your project license. The general contractor carries the project bond and the project insurance. We carry the cabinet, countertop, and shower package from spec lock to install sign-off.
The model
Most cabinet suppliers want to ship and bill. We want to be ready when you are. Cabinets come out of Cabo Cabinet Group, our named distribution partner in Mexico, in four weeks. They stand ready at the factory, at no cost, until your project says ship. Countertops and shower materials from Asia run eight to twelve weeks at category timing. Both tracks converge on your call.
Two regional bases
Phoenix is the install operation. Arizona residential contractor license and insurance. Marco Mercado leads Phoenix install crews. Phoenix is also the supply staging hub for the Southwest, with proximity to USMCA cabinet supply through Cabo Cabinet Group.
Athens is the commercial center. Warren Goodstone leads sales, project coordination, and Southeast relationships from Athens. Southeast install crews are project-staffed locally under the GC's project license, which under Georgia's Limited Service Specialty Contractor exemption allows cabinet sub work without a separate state contractor license. National supply runs through Cabo Cabinet Group regardless of region.
The decades-of-experience anchor
WBS principals have spent decades on the supply and install side of multifamily and student housing cabinet and countertop work. The 200-units-and-up sweet spot is not a marketing claim. It is where the operational depth, supply chain reach, and install crew dimensioning we built actually pays off relative to smaller suppliers and larger primes.
What we do not do
WBS does not act as a general contractor. We do not carry the project license or the project bond. We do not take on loose furniture, casegoods, appliances, or millwork outside the cabinet, vanity, countertop, and shower scope. The work we do, we do well, and we draw the scope line where the work matches the credentials.
Bonding
WBS bonding is available on request, sized to the specific project. Most multifamily cabinet sub scope sits under the GC's project bond and does not require a separate sub-tier surety. When a project does require a bonded sub, we engage our surety relationship and respond inside the timeframe the GC needs.
